Sharing Hope Through Christ’s Mission 🌎
Jesus sends us out to share His hope with the world.
😊☀️👋🏻 Good morning, friend!
Hi there! Pastor Blake here, and I’m so glad you’ve joined me for the final day of this week’s journey in Daily Hope.
Have you ever noticed how good news is meant to be shared? Whether it’s celebrating a new baby, a promotion, or even just finding the best coffee shop in town, we can’t help but share what excites us. Advent reminds us that the greatest news of all—God’s hope through Jesus—isn’t just for us. It’s for everyone.
Let’s explore how we can take the hope we’ve received and share it with others.
🙏 HUMBLE
Begin this time pondering the following questions:
What are you thankful for today?
What burdens, fears, or areas of sin do you need to release to God today?
Now, let’s ask God to help us find HOPE in Him today:
“Lord, open my heart and mind to Your Word today. Help me to see the hope You have for me in these pages. Shine Your light on every truth, and guide me to understand, trust, and apply what You reveal. May Your presence transform my heart and fill me with the hope only You can give. Amen.”
📖 OBSERVE
Now, let’s observe what God has to say in His Word:
READ: Luke 1:68-79; Malachi 4:1-6; Luke 9:1-6
Devotional Focus: Luke 9:2
“And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.”
Reflection:
As Jesus sent His disciples to proclaim the kingdom and bring healing, He also sends us. The hope we receive in Christ isn’t meant to stay with us—it’s meant to overflow into the lives of others.
Advent is a time of both receiving and sharing. We reflect on the hope we have because of Christ’s first coming, and we share that hope with those around us as we await His return. Through our words, actions, and prayers, we are part of His mission to bring healing and restoration to the world.
Reflection Questions:
How has someone shared the hope of Christ with you?
Who is God calling you to reach out to this week?
💡 PERSONALIZE
Now to make this personal in your life, consider this question:
What is one area where God is encouraging you to grow or change?
