God Never Forgets His Promises 🙏🏼
Even when we feel forgotten, God remembers us and restores us in His love.
😊☀️👋🏻 Good morning, friend!
Good morning! It’s Pastor Blake again, and I’m so glad we get to spend this time together today.
Have you ever felt forgotten? Maybe by a friend, a loved one, or even by God? It’s a hard place to be, but today we’re reminded that God never forgets His people. His faithfulness to His promises gives us hope, even when life feels uncertain.
Let’s reflect on the truth that God sees us, remembers us, and invites us to trust Him.
🙏 HUMBLE
Begin this time pondering the following questions:
What are you thankful for today?
What burdens, fears, or areas of sin do you need to release to God today?
Now, let’s ask God to help us find HOPE in Him today:
“Lord, open my heart and mind to Your Word today. Help me to see the hope You have for me in these pages. Shine Your light on every truth, and guide me to understand, trust, and apply what You reveal. May Your presence transform my heart and fill me with the hope only You can give. Amen.”
📖 OBSERVE
Now, let’s observe what God has to say in His Word:
READ: Luke 1:68-79; Malachi 3:13-18; Philippians 1:18b-26
Devotional Focus: Malachi 3:16
“Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in His presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored His name.”
Reflection:
The people of Israel had grown weary in their faithfulness. They felt like their devotion didn’t matter and that God had forgotten them. But Malachi reminds them that God sees and remembers those who honor Him.
This is a promise of hope: God doesn’t forget His people. He keeps every promise, and He listens to every prayer. Advent is a reminder that God is always working to restore us, even when we can’t see it.
We can cling to this hope and share it with others, knowing that God remembers us and invites us to be part of His story of restoration.
Reflection Questions:
Have you ever felt like God forgot you? How does Malachi 3:16 encourage you?
How can you remind someone else that God sees and remembers them?
💡 PERSONALIZE
Now to make this personal in your life, consider this question:
What is one area where God is encouraging you to grow or change?
